During your first couple of drawing classes with E.J. Gold, you get to know your pencil better than you have ever known it in your entire life before. After grayscale practice and shading excerices with the "dreaded #11", students get to draw their first landscapes, typically "House and Tree" or "Two Houses", to give them a taste of what is possible. It's pretty cool, and impressive in some cases, what these first drawings come out to be...and all that having fun....
